Filling a need in our community.

Mr. Handyman is a way for us to fill a need of many who do not know who to call, or how to get things done here in the Bulkley Valley. I figured if I had the issue of having a hard time finding competent and available contractors in the Valley, then there would be others who also need help solving their problems, and we found this especially true for the small household repair and maintenance jobs. Be sure that we will not have any communication, price, tardiness or finished product issues when you hire us.

Our Story

I have lived in the Bulkley Valley most of my life and absolutely love my home and serving my community. I have owned and operated a whole house renovation business since 2012, focusing more on my own projects, but now I have a desire to share my craftmanship with the general community. There is a lack of competent and available contractors in the area so I figured it time to share my skills.

Since starting Mr. Handyman, we have grown to include four more local full-time employees, each carrying their own sets of skills and strengths. We specialize in commercial and home renovation projects, property maintenance and repairs. Their is no job too small for us and we love completing larger projects.

Mr. Handyman values keeping our employees safe while on the jobsite so we commissioned N.E.S.S. in Telkwa to design and build us a safety program. We equally value our clients, their property and their homes so we acquired a five million dollar insurance policy through Bulkley Valley Insurance Services in Smithers. We try to keep our business with sub-contractors and employees alike local so rest assured that when you hire us, we put our resources right back into our community.

We believe that is is the duty of each person to support their community! Take comfort in knowing that when you hire Mr. Handyman you are in turn supporting your community. I used to be a BV Kinsmen Club member and took pride in helping to facilitate, organize and MC the Telkwa BBQ and Demolition Derby for many consecutive years. We love donating time and resources to help those causes which in turn helps people on the individual level. Every person matters and we truly believe anyone can make a difference!
